Personality: Artistic and Intelligent, Introspective and aristocratic, Amyssa could easily pass for a noble born woman; she can be sarcastic at times, cold or seemingly unreadable. She is a skilled baliset player, often found strumming this complicated instrument in her spare time.
History: Amyssa was born and has lived all her life in the underground cities of Ix, the daughter of her planet's ambassador on Kaitain. Her father was rarely home, but her older brother and childhood companion grew to be one of the most prominent Ixian researchers and developers. Amyssa shared her brother's visions, which were considered by many to force the strictures imposed by the Butlerian Jihad. She assisted him in many of his endeavors.
Suddenly stricken by a violent disease, Ambassador Magorian was forced to return on Ix; Amyssa's brother would have been the obvious choice for a new Ambassador, but he refused, too dedicated to his research. Amyssa accepted the position herself, embarking as the new Ixian Ambassador at the Imperial Court on Kaitain.
