The Vice Proctor Superior is known to cut quite a different figure around the Wallach IX Mother School to most of her fellow instructors, but woe betide any young adept who assumes that Kovacha's doe eyes, curvaceous figure, and immaculately tended blonde hair mark her out as a soft touch. She embodies the old maxim of "speak softly and carry a big stick" and is an expert in subtle argument, psychological manipulation, and withering put-downs. Ruthlessly ambitious she has designs on the position of Proctor Superior but to her annoyance finds herself continually passed over for promotion. She worries that her past in a more sexually rather than intellectually or culturally oriented wing of Sisterhood activities counts against her career progression.
History:
Reverend Mother Kovacha began her Sisterhood career as a seductress, ensnaring men who for whatever reason would or could not accept the more conventional offer of a Bene Gesserit wife or concubine. Her mission was to become pregnant by any means necessary, then disappear from the lives completely, and to this end she was practised in the skills of the bordello and the boudoir rather than in companionship and the politics of aristocracy. Echoes of this role, about which she felt some amount of hidden resentment, can still be seen in her mannerisms and appearance.
Later she graduated to Reverend Mother status, her mentor Reverend Mother Callisto Bautista noting that she underwent the Agony at a comparatively late age versus others in her school intake due to extended time spent away on assignments and pregnant, and was given the role of Proctor to teach her skills to new young initiates. Assigned to the Mother School on Wallach IX she gradually advanced through the academic ranks until she ascended to the position of Vice Proctor Superior.
When not attending to administrative duties Kovacha lectures in situational awareness, the ability of a Bene Gesserit to at lightning speed analyze and adapt to her circumstances, and is also considered knowledgeable in the field of drug and poison administration. These are both skills honed during her previous activities; adapting rapidly to a 'client' she had perhaps never met before would be vital when attempting a seduction, while drugs and poison were occasionally necessary to deal with those who proved awkward either during or after the assignation.
