Name: Lucy Montague
Faction: House Montague
Sex: Female
Age: 18
Hair color: short, shaggy and blond, nowadays of a much more platinum hue than her natural, honey colour.
Eye color: green
Unusual markings/piercings/tattoos: several ear piercings
Height/Weight/Built: very slim, with a still underdeveloped, almost boyish figure which nonetheless can appear strikingly feminine when wearing the right garments.
Personality: Intelligent, rebellious, fun-loving, Lucy has not yet matured well enough to see life but an endless array of obligations and responsibilities; she is aware of them while keeping a light-hearted view on things, often going by the old saying “Smile! Tomorrow can be worse!” Witty, at times sarcastic comments are characteristic for her, as well as the skillful way in which she disguises her attitude behind the façade of the dutiful young lady, when it is in her interest to do so.
Having not known her father, who had abandoned her mother, Emma Montague, after finding out she was pregnant, Lucy holds a deep mistrust towards men and romantic feelings, in her vision spineless creatures unworthy of a woman’s love. Having spent a year in the company of her aunt, Elisha, has not improved Lucy's discipline, on the contrary.
History: Lucy Montague was born on Planet Allanor, in the household of Duke Robert Montague, the result of an affair between the eldest daughter, Emma and the director of one of the main manufacturing facilities in the area. Emma had kept their relationship secret, knowing she would encounter her father’s wrath should they be discovered; this, however, could not been avoided once the young woman’s unexpected pregnancy became obvious. To make things worse, the father panicked and fled Allanor to an unknown destination.
Duke Robert resented his daughter for it, and even after Lucy’s birth he spared no occasion to remind her of her mistake and the fact that she would probably never marry, already having a child out of wedlock. Lucy grew up hearing such accusations and a burning hate for the father who had abandoned her and her mother ignited in her heart. She received no special training during her childhood, the Montagues being unable to afford a Bene Gesserit tutor, for example. She followed the customary courses taught by the cheapest private teacher Duke Robert could find, and despite not putting an enormous amount of effort in her work, she rose above the expectations. Determined not to let her daughter become but the jaded wife of a minor noble who did not love her, Emma Montague struggled to obtain a scholarship to one of the finest universities on Kaitain for Lucy, knowing that Allanor could never offer her the opportunities the Imperial Capital would.
